Georgia Grants Management System
Case Background
Implementation Overview
Scope® streamlined the grant management process with our Appian based solution and AI-driven platform, designed for complete Grant life cycle management from publishing a Grant Opportunity to Grant close-out. Scope® designed the system to allow Grantees to respond to new opportunities, create progress reports, and submit claims. Grantors can manage multiple grants, view grant applications, award grant proposals, allocate funds to appropriate funding accounts, create onsite and status reports, participate in workflows for claims, progress reports, perform monitoring of grants using grant status report and on-site reports, and perform grant close-out and perform grant closing at the end of the fiscal year. Scope® developed a data migration plan and migrated data for all relevant fiscal years into the new system. Over 60 GB of documents uploaded in the legacy system were also migrated and accurately mapped and tagged to appropriate grants in the new system.
Results
Scope® delivered a modern grants management solution to GOHS within 4 months of signing the contract. Within months of Go Live, GOHS was able to successfully process progress reports and claims and perform grant closing on prior fiscal year grants. GOHS was also able to open new opportunities for the upcoming fiscal year and start receiving new grant applications.
The solution supports several different grants such as Students Against Destructive Decisions, Traffic Enforcement Networks, Young Adults Safety and others that align to the NHTSA grant requirements. For these grants, Scope® has built several capabilities such as General Application process, Application Review & Awards, Award Disbursement, Financial & Performance Monitoring, Year-End Reconciliation and Travel Authorization.
